I'm a Neurology student... um... I started doing digital art about 1.5 years ago - PaintBBS. Never did get a tablet so I'm using a mouse and (rarely) a touchpad. I use Shi Painter Pro mostly.
I would... but I can't afford getting an art program right now - especially since I don't even have a tablet to really take advantage of it. . My style? What style? X3
This is version 1.1, which is actually completely free! I use it as well. It's not for sharp contrasts and photo manipulation (like Photoshop), but you can paint with it, showing many different shades of colour. Easy to use as soon as you switch the language to English.

Your style > painting instead of cell shading or using tones or such. You use many different shades of colour, so I thought there'd be a match here. ;)
